Costco's Angus Cheeseburger combo

Has anyone had a chance to try out Costco's Angus cheeseburger? It comes with fries and pop for $5.99. I had one earlier this week, and I'm chomping down on one now. Besides being an awesome deal, it tastes really good, too. The patty is thick (around 3/4"), and the burger alone really fills me up. I like to load it up with onions.

I fully endorse this burger! I wish they sold the burger on it's own, but hey, this is Costco.

Saw it yesterday, but decided to just get the standard hot dog. Maybe next time I'll grab one of these...

I believe it's a 1/2 pound patty.

HonestTea 05-22-2009 05:02 PM

damn that sounds good!

Have to disagree. Not worth it. Patty comes out of a steaming bin.

Durrann1984 05-24-2009 12:57 PM

ooh yeah i saw it being advertised
dam i want one now lol

SiR001 05-24-2009 11:55 PM

it's not bad for the price - drink fries and decent burger (when I say decent = value for dollar, ok quality)

Durrann1984 05-25-2009 09:03 AM

after reading this forum i went to costco to try the burger

yeah it was decent..i was hoping the burger would've been made fresh but oh well gotta serve it up fast

still a tasty burger nonetheless

they are, the frozen prime rib angus burgers that costco sells

being someone who works there, i get sick of looking at some of the foodcourt food, but the burger is undeniably a good deal, albeit a little lacking in the authentic "burger" meal (they don't look/taste as fresh as they ought to be)

otherwise, its fine to have one once in a while, just make sure you load it with onions and bbq sauce (little packets that come w/ chicken strips).

Hows everything else in the food court?

Ice cream, fries, chicken strips, pizza, hot dogs etc.

It's Pretty good however they have taken out the ribs and fries from the menu in order to make room for it:( ..........

Honestly, Costco has to be up there in fast food type style food.

Everything that you listed is actually pretty good. There is no "bad choice" there.

I love the fries. They are pretty amazing.

Manic! 05-25-2009 10:33 PM

Have had the burger twice and the patty is pretty plain and a little dry. The best things on their menu are the hot dogs and the Montreal smoked meatt

Amuse 05-25-2009 10:40 PM

The ribs and fries were awesome..sucks that they took it out

Wait wtf?
They don't serve the fries anymore?

Or is it just that they took it out of the menu at the top so they could have room to pormote the Angus Chesseburger Combo..

Razor Ramon HG 05-25-2009 11:12 PM

Best deal ever is the hot dog.

Of course they still serve fries... just no more ribs.

werd.

Poutine is pretty good for the price. Comparing it to shit from KFC/Church's etc for the same price, it's pretty dang good.

Question for the burger- condiments are self serve like for the hot dogs? Or are they already in there when it's served to you?

Durrann1984 05-26-2009 09:43 AM

^^ self serve

skholla 05-26-2009 11:04 AM

The ribs were not that good. Fat Burger is nothing great. I would put these in the same class as Fat Burger.
