Sedins were dominant... 7 points split between them.. wow.
Shirokov was amazing on the power plays in the first period. His puck control and passing level is right up there with the sedins! He made so many cross ice beauties in the first period. However, in the subsequent periods he was a lot less noticeable on the power plays. The sharks defenders were much more physical with him and i saw him get pushed down quite a few times. He is also somewhat of a liability in our own end. He made a horrible pass right near our blue line that directly resulted in the first SJ goal.
Is he good enough for the NHL? Absolutely.
Should he be the sedin's 5on5 linemate? Hard to say without seeing burrows and sammy playing on their wing.
Should he be the sedin's power play linemate? He's my favourite at the moment.
