Neal got two games for the hit.
Its great to see that the refs were on top of this one. He got 5 and a game for that hit, which leaves me surprised he got 2 games. He basically got suspended because the player was injured. Had the player not got hurt, the 5 min boarding and game misconduct would have been justified as the only punishment.
Also, maybe he would have gotten more game if he wasn't the leading scorer for the Stars?
The only criteria that the NHL ever seems to use is
a) Did the player who got hit get injured
b) Was it a goon or star player who made the hit.

I heard on the radio that Pettinger has been released back to waivers. Tonight will be his last game, since Daniel is coming back on Sunday.
This is unfortunate, as I find him to be a good player. Someone that has been producing unlike Wellwood, even though they play different roles on the team.
