The Capitals just picked up Eric Belanger from the Wild for a 2nd Rounder. Eric Belanger is a good third-line centerman, so does this mean that Brendan Morisson could be on the move?

Having just taken in the quality of play in the Olympics and now witnessing a bunch of meaningless shuffling of no-name players on trade deadline day - I'm left to think the NHL is too big right now. Too many teams filled with a lot of "fluff" players. The NHL expansion experiment into non-hockey markets has been a failure IMO. There is just not enough talent to disperse amongst 30 teams. All IMO of course.
