Personally, I would like to see Van vs Det in the first round. Now before you go WTF? Here's my short explanation. If we can not beat Detroit first round we do not deserve the cup and I don't have to get my hopes up. If we beat lets say LA first round we will think we are going to the cup. Then we will play a proven playoff team and loose because they will not give enough credit to which ever team we play next. Remember 2009?

If Canucks play Detroit first round and win, then they are legit. Everyone will be easier after Detriot, except maybe if you get to the cup final. If they get to the cup final I will cry, if they win the cup... I will cry even more. Not sad tears, happy tears.

I haven't been catching canucks game lately, it is so hurting to see Luongo still shaky. I don't really care how good raycroft is or our forwards are.
Our d men still shit and we don't stand a chance if Luongo is not playing well either.

I might just bitter but honestly I think its another 2nd round exit unless our d magically playing strong and luongo is in his god like mode

Our D has been awful after the break and I see a first round exit if they don't pick it up.

as much as i dislike bieksa, i really want him to score a goal before the playoffs. he was playing well before his injury and hasn't really done much since coming back.

we really need mitchell back on D :( he's been out for so long!

DO you also think that it relates to Luongo? Him not being too confident about his D so he wont be as aggressive?
As good as a goalie gets, I believe he needs his D men more than anything.

*sigh* I just wish Luongo wasn't so fucking bad right now.... The positioning and rebound control that made him so good in the past just hasn't been there for the last month. Shots have been falling out of his glove and he hasn't been absorbing pucks like he used to. What do you think it'll take to get him out of his funk?

Don't know if this has been said before but I want the Canucks to face Detroit in the opening round. It would be a great test for the Canucks to play against a very strong playoff team and if we beat them, it would show the rest of the NHL and haters that the Canucks are true cup contenders this season.
