I think straight cut is the safe bet, skinny, drop crotch, flared are all trends which come and go.

what are some brands that make nice drop crotch pants/jeans?

i love that style but don't have anything except for some sweats

woob 01-19-2013 09:01 AM

<$50: Topman, ASOS - both these brands call them "carrot jeans"
~$100: I Love Ugly Zespy Pant, Cheap Monday Kwan
>$200: Wings+Horns Anti-fit Chino

All I could think of off the top of my head

svelt 01-19-2013 10:42 AM

I'll post pics since I have taken a liking to this thread. Bought these in the last couple of weeks:

Don't usually purchase anything from these designers (sans APC) but they were all on sale, and I'm sort of on the counter-counter-culture phase now.

How does duties work for buying things made in canada but it's coming from the UK?

Thinking of picking up some W+H stuff from asos

taxes (12%) and brokerage. no duties.

ForeverYours 01-19-2013 07:35 PM

^ just to add I believe brokerage is around 20% +$7.50 of the value iirc.
I bought shoes for <$90 and at the door fcking DHL had a ~$35 collect on delivery

DHL brokerage is 7%, minimum $7 IIRC.

They are cheaper than FedEx, anyway.

Dsquared is from the same designers as Diesel jeans right? at least from what I heard

Is the quality of the DG jeans really nice? I cant justify spending $500 on a pair of jeans

I agree with you too. Honestly, I don't see anything high quality in a pair of dg jeans.
It's different among what ppl wear these days which is true religions. Tbh I still wear true religions, I've been wearing them since the trend started. I still like the style of them.
