Hmm...I ordered my Daytons 2 weeks ago. They said 4 weeks to build so we'll see.

Hondaracer 02-07-2015 07:05 PM

Yeah, the Service Boot.

Honestly, I'm pretty patient and don't care that how long it takes so long it is made with care and without defects. Just do it right once the first time.

Adi SL Loop TR. One of the comfiest shoes for walking about and driving with since my Air Maxes but with a more fashionable colorway (yes, I like the beige,my Air Maxes are forest green and yellow). Discounted at the Seattle Outlets, and the laces and inner lining match the stripes on the Adidas Stoke City training jacket I wear daily.

55 down from 70. Even factoring in conversion it's still likely cheaper than buying in Canada, and even then I can't find a reliable Canadian source on them from a quick Google.

Hondaracer 02-19-2015 11:29 AM

Still no word from Dayton. This Sunday will be week 14

TOS'd 02-19-2015 11:44 AM

Shit, kind of glad I didn't make my order shortly after you. Best of luck HR.

trollguy 02-19-2015 12:57 PM

Try Sportscheck but they don't have this color...

ended up getting http://a1.zassets.com/images/z/2/9/9...RGE_SEARCH.jpg and http://item.shopping.c.yimg.jp/i/l/s...ctr-mad210-21g

Gotta be honest, they're fucking sick.. and feel amazing, i'm a 9 1/2 EEE in their sizing, typically take a 10.5/11 in regular shoes in EE

although the long wait i can say i'm very happy with the end product. Stiching is excellent and the leather insole has a very nice stamped dayton bull logo and fine detailing.

Phozy 03-14-2015 11:25 PM

Those look amazing :fuckyea:

Saw on adidas.com they have a black/red version on sale for $55 but won't ship to Canada ><

StylinRed 03-16-2015 12:50 AM

not a fashion purchase but would like to share :P

I've been having issues using cartridges for shaving, my stubble seems to be getting rougher and thicker too much for the cart + skin is too sensitive.
Anyway so i picked up shaving a with a safety razor (wanted a straight razor but wussed out) as I hear you can get a closer/better shave with them and the blades are a lot cheaper

So I dived in and got a razor and lots and lots of different types of soap to try so here's a pic :) (not all soaps are pictured)

StylinRed 03-16-2015 10:28 PM

it's just their shave soaps, it's a great soap, but overpriced imo and i read you can get better performing soap for less than half the price (i've got some but haven't tried it yet)

i ordered the soaps from neimanmarcus.com as i had a large gift card so it ended up not costing me anything (they're $90USD each)

and i ordered the shave set from MÜHLE Rasurkultur | Willkommen in der Welt von MÜHLE doesn't ship to canada oddly but low prices, lower after they've refunded you VAT. they do have a US website called http://www.muehleusa.com which does ship to Canada however the prices on the US website are almost 3X as much after conversion :fulloffuck:

Had my order shipped to the border, but was too lazy to go pick it up so I had them forward it up here and got charged duties on top of gst/pst because it's made in europe -__-

i also ordered soaps/razor blades/aftershave from these sites
fendrihan.com (canadian)
mesessentials.ca (canadian) - also most generous with filling up their samples that you order
maggardrazors.com (us, ships here with usps) - you can find the most samples here but they don't fill up all the bottles QC sucks

bananana 03-17-2015 02:51 PM

Just went to Dayton today to cop a pair. They had a few in stock in my size but not quite what I wanted so I opted to get them customized... Got the service boot in brown pull-up leather, brass eyelets, canvas semi-structured toebox and itshide commando sole. Sucks how they just had a sale last month and a ton of orders came in. ETA is 5 months or so though I'm expecting closer to 6-7. I'll probably forget about them by the time they come haha.

How are you guys liking yours?

Funniest thing. I ordered late January and just got mine last week. They must have said 4 months to build instead of weeks. It's too hot to wear boots now. First world problem.

You did the right thing ordering now. You'll get them in time for boot season. Also, why would someone get a boot off the shelf at Dayton? Get one exactly the way you want it.
