You think that ICBC would let you fucking pass a drivers test if they heard you say that? let alone just run over everyone to get to your destination quickly because "Time is money"? There's a reason why we have driving tests so shit like this doesn't fucking happen you idiot. |
r.i.p |
I was talking in general about tow truck and cab drivers been careless but please, save me the BS about "time is money" because that doesn't give you the right to do well over 80+km's on city streets, run through red lights, cut other drivers off, tailgate and the list goes on and it sure in hell doesn't give you the right to put other peoples lives in danger. |
OMG, that's soo sad.. RIP |
rip |
you'd think people would pay more attention when crossing streets full of speeding giant metal machines that can crush and kill you just like that... especially a mother with her child, she should be even more aware. ICBC, highschools or something, should show people videos of people getting hit by cars, even the gory ones, maybe just blurred :P that way it teaches people to be aware of the streets, it's the machine's world, not ours. and it would probably teach people to slow down too, but probably not, cuz you know, people in cars know they're protected against flesh, and they have the adrenaline of achieving super human speeds at just a touch of their right feet. whereas pedestrians don't really have any reason to just be more fucking careful. |

Bengyman you motherfuck i hope a semi-trailer rig crashes through your house and runs over your penis. |
That is one of the worst places to cross the street at. I do it at least 4 days a week and cars are always flying, not saying I don't fly down there myself, but it's pretty dangerous. I saw the covers over the baby and the cops all with their heads down. Pretty sad sight. I also heard that the mother died enroute to the hospital? Not too sure, but RIP. |

i don't know why this was not mentioned in the news reports, but if any of you have been in that area (or gone through that intersection in particular), the city has ripped up sections of sidewalk to be repaired or rebuilt, INCLUDING THE HANDICAP RAMPS AT THE CORNERS (note: mom with baby in stroller). there are pylons, etc. everywhere and as a pedestrian you are forced to walk on the street as close to the shoulder as possible to get around it :( |
wow rip |

Downtown traffic is ridiculous all the time during the day time. Taxi's piss me off the most, cutting everywhere and flooring it. I just never budge, block them off and not let them cut in. They think they're the king or something. |
R.I.P |
I've seen first hand someone who was run over by the front wheels of a giant 8 wheel'd cement mixer. She was run over on the lower half of her body and I tried my best to give her first aid while we waited for the paramedics to arrive. It was definately a sight I will remember and everyday it reminds me to look both ways before crossing the street. RIP. |
As pissed as I am for that truck driver to not check before making the right turn, as a parent I will NEVER trust someone else to not making a mistake when I am crossing with my kids. Right of way doesn't matter, if a car runs red and hits you, YOU ARE FUCKING DEAD. |
rip.. |
R.I.P and I cant even begin to start with how the mother will cope w/ the loss of her child. I hope she makes it through everything. This is another reason why life is so precious, and how it can be lost in just a second. =( |
drove past there. Old chinese people doing prayers. |
so sad :( |
rip - not always the driver's fault. i was coming down venables once and a mom tried to jaywalk across the street in front of me with several kids while pushing a stroller. she didn't even look left or right before proceeding. drivers and pedestrians always gotta be on the lookout. |
Hate it when shit like this happens.. RIP, hope the mom recovers, |
RIP poor kid |
