Agreed. The rear is perfect, though. But for that price? In this economy? Good luck, Toyota. For all the money and time they spent on this one car, they could've done tons of work across their whole line up, but who am I to say? :p

Jackygor 10-20-2009 09:17 PM

^^^^

The technology will eventually be used in other Lexus as well.

TRD Rs200 10-20-2009 09:17 PM

In this world, there are more than 500 ballers who are willing to spend that much on a Lexus.

Pricing figures aren't official yet. Sounds like it's going to be about 350K.

Definitely too much money for the car, but this does serve to shut the people up who were convinced it was never happening. Well, they built it - a little disappointing, but in the end, they did really, finally build it.

lol, lemans cars can't count. The only reason those cars were made was so it could race in production only races.

skyxx 10-20-2009 10:53 PM

^ What about the NSX-R GT?

Does it really matter what brand it is? As long as the car is up to the quality(interior/exterior), performance and exclusivity it can be priced at that point.

While I do agree, in the real world it's hard to justify that. Look at the Volkswagen Phaeton. For what it was, it was a fantastic car. It was well built, well appointed and reasonably priced for it's competition. Unfortunately it sold poorly, largely due to the fact that it was a Volkswagen and not an Audi, BMW, or Benz.

That said, I have no doubt that Lexus will easily sell all 500 units of this car.

Yeah, the phaeton was great. It sold well in Europe but not America. Anyway guys don't compare this car with the GT-R. I know some of you will, it's just in two different classes.
