FAIL.

My car is lowered and I drove it around Ottawa for 6 winters on good winter tires. Yes you cannot go out where there has been a huge dump of snow, yet wait a few hours for the plows to clear the streets and you're fine.

For a lowered car that is running more camber, winters are even more important.

consider looking at listings in washington state. that's where i found mine (also 18").

I didn't know your parents were in calgary, aren't the winters there pretty rough, wheres the jeep?

Lol my dad is throwing a few bags of rice in the back of the Z because 6 cars is not enough to get us around in the winter

lol I don't think they'd wanna drive to calgary in the cherokee... 12 hours in that thing would kill them plus they're driving aunt and uncle back from calgary.. needed something comfortable

you guys have 6 cars?! lol bought some more since I was last at your place?

so... their 1-3cm prediction of snow was off

Also craigslist. Unfortunately, it's not that easy to find Volvo steelies in RWD offset. Ugh. People and their FWD/AWD bricks these days!

You can drive the cherokee if it snows though, it seems like a great beater to me
Well we just got the astra like 2 weeks ago, and yeah next to the X3 and the astra, everything else is RWD, some lowered... some...smart cars
But yeah the Z is the next best car for winter we have cos the ground clearance is pretty high and it's the only one without Performance tires since I just switched back to the 16's, I'm sure if i wanted a set of 16" winter tires would be pretty affordable too for that car

What are you talking about? Maybe because I'm in Australia, everything is the opposite.

(okay okay, I'm not in Australia but thought it was super awesome)
