Yeah, but then you have to live your life knowing you're a gigantic cheap-ass :fullofwin:

Why do you have to add onions? There's already onions with a mcdouble, ditto with the pickle. I just ask for the lettuce and to swap the ketchup/mustard with mac sauce instead.

My chinese parents raised me that way. I actually think they are proud when I cheap out.

sonick 03-25-2011 07:54 AM

lol, I know what you mean but personally I hate living down that stereotype, especially if the total amount of money saved is minimal even though the percentage may be large.

I also don't line up for free coffee or biscuits when fast food places have promotions, and don't get food samples at Costco (unless I am genuinely curious about the product, which hasn't happened yet).

I am a bad chinese.

Just got a double filet o fish meal and subbed the pop with a medium coffee for $6.89. So damn satisfying

When you tell them plain, it tells the folks in the back to add nothing to it and instead, build to order. In this case, if you said, "Plain," they would not have added onions by default.

Which items on that list would occur added cost? If you take out the tomato, would it only be $1.69?

I'm a student in university and therefore I am "poor". Cheap is the only way I can go during these times...

Add lettuce = 20 cents
Add tomato = 20 cents

Extra lettuce = 0 cents
Extra tomato = 0 cents

So if you order, be sure to say extra and not "add"
