That's nice, you found a place. Hongers pay the same price as everyone else. Computer parts, restaurants, bubble tea.. They sit down, speak their language, and pay the price on teh menu. If they wanna save money, they log onto NCIX, RFD, and Craigslist and wait for a deal. For some things, it's possible to bargain. But there's no mass conspiracy. If you're yellow and you go to Pearl Castle and try to bargain, they tell you to GTFO.

Here's an idea for those of you who use their Credit/Debit Card for just about everything.

Use. Cash.

You save more money this way because you know how much you're using, AND you don't have interest rates to pay. Win/Win. I only use my card when it comes to big purchases, Dates, and Gas/Cigarettes. I do use it every so often to get Air miles, but otherwise I only bring cash with me because I can physically see my money being used vs Magic Platinum powers.

And as for change, there's a change pocket built into your jeans. It's that little pocket on your right front pocket. It's called the change pocket and it's there for a reason. If you need to buy a Coin purse for your change, grow a dick.

I never pay with cash. I use credit card for everything. I think ive paid interest once in 5 years because i fucked up and forgot to pay my bill. Using my credit card has got me $1000 in GC to futureshop, a trip to mexico and my airfare to hawaii.
People still use cash these days

Different people have different self-control with money. I have never paid interest on my personal credit cards for the years that I've had them... so for me, it's generally to my advantage to use them due to rewards/rebates/points/whatever. That said, I always carry cash too.

By the way, that pocket on the right front is actually a watch pocket and not a change pocket

you have your own form of self control, that's nice. paying credit cards on time isn't rocket science, it takes self control to not over spend and get yourself into debt. same principle.

Use Credit.

You save more money this way because you know how much you're using, AND you don't have interest rates to pay (if you always pay off your CC, which you should) AND you collect points AND have additional theft/car/medical insurance. Win/Win/Win/Win. I only use cash for vending machines. I have a TimCard linked to my CC, and a Verrus account linked to my cell phone/CC for parking. I use my CC all the time to get Aeroplan miles, and avoid bringing cash with me because I can be physically robbed. My CIBC Visa has budgeting software available online, and will txt/email me when I hit custom set spending limits, and I can do all this from my cell phone.

And as for change, I never have to carry any. There's a change pocket built into your jeans. It's that little pocket on your right front pocket. It's called the change pocket and it's there for a reason. I use it for my dope. If you need to buy a Coin purse for your change, stop using cash.

^ yup, not to mention building good credit for future purchases of cars, apartments, houses, etc. you don't get anything out of using cash all the time.

I tend to use credit card for most things, I just transfer what I spend daily from my chequing account to my cc accounts usually when I get home or the next day. From doing this, I currently have about 450,000 points lol, I could cash it in for a free 52in LCD TV

It has to do with culture and the way you are brought up.

I recall watching a show about the first Honda Fit in some part of China, the dude literally brought a dragger luggage full of cash to pay for it and nope, its not cause he is "rich" or "baller" its just the way they do things.

In Sgp, Mas, HK, China its not uncommon to carry a few hundred bucks in your pocket and yes, we are talking common folks not rich ballers. That may be part of the reason why I can still get a decent meal for ~3 bucks in asia but not here. You are indirectly paying for all your free miles, points, tv when the business work the extra 3-8% into the cost of everything.

Wow. So many replies to my post.

Cash works everywhere.
Cash > Credit.

And some of you can't read.
I said I use a credit card, but how hard is it to bring cash around?

Cash for little things, Credit for big things. Durr. Common sense.
Forgive me for throwing out my 2 cents from my change pocket that is located in the little pocket in the front right of my jeans.
