Anybody know if Konis are made in the US? I've been debating on whether I should buy it for cheaper online and ship it over here.
I'm mainly worried about paying duties if it isn't made in the US.

Before I put my two cents in, you're definately on the right track wanting Koni's. There is a reason they're so popular, so you definately can't go wrong with them. I would; however, stay away from used shocks/struts. Just not a good idea. Not worth the savings IMO.
Might I suggest the KYB AGX's? They aren't as expensive as the Koni yellows, but they do have the stiffness adjustability. I had them on my old car with H&R race springs and was super happy, so I bought them again for my current car. |

^ I have the same set-up on my celica (H&R springs with KYB AGX's) and the ride seems to be pretty harsh, especially train tracks
feels like you're getting tossed around the car while slowly creeping over the tracks ... especially the ones on rupert close to superstore!

Thanks for your help everyone | When I was slammed before, I didn't have a camber kit.
After the dropped, drove around for about couple of weeks and took it in for an alignment.
It was about -3.25 in the front and -2.75 in the rear.
People might talk about abnormal tire wear without a camber kit, but it's not quite true.
But what actually eats the tires is having a incorrect toe settings, which will be corrected when getting an alignment.
I'm only running a camber kit now cause i have fat tires and low offset rims

Should I go for Koni Yellow or Koni Orange?
I'm tight on a budget, and looking to spend under $450, and orange's are in my price range. Are the yellows worth the extra couple hundred? | give us a call. we are the koni distributor.
