	        | Koni Yellow or Koni Orange?

Bought myself some H&R Racing springs, and lowering my ride 2" or so.
Should I go for Koni Yellow or Koni Orange?
I'm tight on a budget, and looking to spend under $450, and orange's are in my price range. Are the yellows worth the extra couple hundred?

Do it right and go for the yellow.
The orange 'STR.T' is the budget line for bilstein, and although they are designed with lowering springs in mind, it may not be designed for more aggressive springs like the Race.

Have you looked into ordering from the states? They are much cheaper from there.
From what I've heard, Bilstein only has one canadian distributor and because of this they jack up the price way up in Canada.

Yes they're about 130usd per shock in the states.
With the current exchange rate right now, it's actually a decent deal.
Locally prepare to get charged an arm and a leg for a new set, almost upto 800CAD.
Plus with koni yellows, they're extra fun to mess around with cause one day you can make the car ride soft or super hard.

DO NOT buy used shocks! They are gay and full of fail!
But the beauty with Bilsteins and Koni's is that they CAN be rebuilt to spec.

Don't forget to get your top hat's extended about an inch. It'll keep you off your bumpstops by adding more travel and extend the life of your koni's. Much cheaper than paying to ship the koni's out to be warrantied. http://www.ht-archive.com/showthread.php?p=40640496
i did this years ago on my old crx, totally worth it

Thanks

I don't think the Koni Orange STR.T shocks have adjustable perches.

Should I go for Koni Yellow or Koni Orange?
I'm tight on a budget, and looking to spend under $450, and orange's are in my price range. Are the yellows worth the extra couple hundred? | It all depends on whether you want adjustment for stiffness or not. the setting for the orange and the yellow are similar. The yellow can be made harder
