Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

Conan got 4.2 million viewers technically beating Leno / Letterman as they, on average, get 3.5/3.4 million viewers
i imagine Conans average would be below what he got on his premiere but it was, an expected, win for the night
the 1st ep was nice felt a little lacking but it wasn't bad
as for Max Weinberg i was reading over the Summer that him and Conan didn't seem to be getting along people asked Max about the show and Max said he was never contacted by Conan and he'll be waiting to hear from him (sounded like he didn't expect Conan to call) and then some other rumblings (along the lines of them hating one another) and finally Max just said he didn't want to do it. (maybe it had to do with $$$?)

4.3 is really really good for basic cable. When Conan got the TBS deal, I remember hearing that getting 1.5mil per night is a WIN for him, as that's a number that Jon Stewart gets nightly. Btw Letterman is now #1 in terms of the "traditional" talk show hosts.
