I'm definitely not going to get it tmomrrow. I want to see there will be a price adjustment since it seems like one the those fuk & chuck games (unless u'r a diehard FF fan). I predict there will be large number of 2nd hand copy available in 1 month time.

so what if its linear, does it mean the story won't be awesome, that the fighting system will be exciting to use, that it won't be a great game?

everyone will have the exact same experiance if thats how your items go, no customization whatsoever

imo longevity and replay value is -all- in free roaming and interaction, which is why ive logged like hundreds of hours in Fallout 3, which is why games like WoW are succesfull, who wants to be funneled through a story line

I agree. Western gamers have very short attention spans. They prefer to kill first, think later type of game. Logging 100+ hours on 1 game is not what they are used to.
