STOLEN: ENTIRE HOCKEY BAG (Car break in - E CANTEEN)
 

My car was broken into tonight at around 9-10pm at parking lot of E Canteen on Westminster hwy. Apparently doors werent locked but i remember pressing the remote (the thing is crappy and sometimes doesnt work unless you try several times.) I was distracted as i was talking to several people at the time and didnt check if the car was locked.

My entire hockey bag, and bluetooth was taken, glove box rummaged but sticks and insurance info were all there. As far as i can tell right now, only things missing is the Bag and bluetooth device.

Please keep an eye out on any classifieds or see anything like that on the street.

I dont see why anyone would take my gear that was JUST used and still wet and smelling horrid. And some gear is custom (mouthguard, so it cant be resold)

The following is a list of gear from the bag:

Two team jerseys - black and white. Team logo is SPIRIT with an eagle
matching socks

other things like jock shorts and drifit underwear.

It was in the front. In the lot facing westminster.

I just filed a report, and gonna talk with insurance tomorrow. About two grand worth of stuff is gone. Not gonna be playin for a few weeks i think....damn.

be very careful parking there, best to just avoid parking there all together.

shiet... I feel so paranoid leaving hockey gear in my car.
I try to avoid it at all times (besides during my car ride to the rink or from the rink back to home).

Most likely it was just a fast grab, probably didn't even check what was in the bag.
Figured if its hockey gear, it would be valuable to sell.. ?

That sucks... hope you can get your money back through insurance or something...
