Nope... I'm being blocked by those guys in the foreground, but you can see my fiance's head at the back, which is dead center in this picture...

highly doubt it, Hockey Canada merchandise works a little bit differently than the VANOC or HBC stuff, and with the significance of hockey, these jerseys will be hot items for the next few months and stores WILL stock more and more

I can see stores doing maybe 10-20bux off the 135 retail.

Doubtful, I heard that the 2010 Team Canada Jersey production will be stopped as Hockey Canada will be reverting back to its traditional Hockey Canada logo for Team Canada and any future runs probably won't have the additional Vancouver 2010 or Olympic Torch badges.

Gh0stRider 03-02-2010 06:39 AM

Not a fan of the 2010 jerseys. I prefer the traditional team canada logo.

Same here. I wasn't digging the Native art.

They should come out with a Gold Medal release with the player in the middle wearing a gold medal w/ the blue ribbon and some cool patch work.

Tim Budong 03-02-2010 11:42 AM

the players wore the hockey canada logo INSIDE the jersey HAHA

I wouldn't do it, you can always make the 250 dollars back somewhere.

wolfwood 03-02-2010 02:33 PM

well, you can take the chance of buying a used one back at a lower price in the future when all the fad has disappeared or buying it back at an even higher price when the fad does not go away and the supply dries up even more. :D

Use coupon code : SHOPONLINE2010 to save 10% + Free shipping when buying from vancouver2010.com, and not from ctvolympics store.

Just pre-ordered the blu-ray set, no book promo on ctv site, so I went with the 10% discount :D

And to echo others' sentiments: big thanks to CRS!! (x2)

Question: Are they still rolling out CANADA zip up hoodies at The Bay Downtown? Still lineups? I can't believe people are paying 20$ for the 5$ red mitts! Maybe I should buy in bulk from Zellers and sell it on Craigs!

TOS'd 03-02-2010 02:51 PM

Do you think if I go to Japan during the winter, they would have some olympic merch still around? Or way too late everythings probably all gone?

The retail price for the red mitts is $10... And most of the ones you see in Zellers are kid-sized.

Yes. Well, it depends on who "they" are, but you could try the usual of London Druggies, Cave-on foods etc. These places should have that stuff on sale. You could also try:

- smaller gift shops/convenience stores, especially downtown. I saw a some plush Quatchis and Mukmuks at a convenience store at the base of one of the Bentall office towers. What I saw was full price.
- online. vancouver2010.com/store shows stock and it looks like they get periodic stock replenishment. Full price mind you.

CRS 03-02-2010 07:31 PM

bsftong has a RED CANADA HOODIE in girls 10-12 for sale!!!!!

He bought it off me but it did not fit his gf so he is putting it up for sale!

Here is your last chance at getting a red canada hoodie without having the pay crazy CL prices of 100+!

Looks like this:
