Just a heads up for anyone of you guys who might have friendrs or family members within Vanoc, they have a bunch of unused brand new spare Olympic Torches they had made for backups that they are selling to employees for $350. Might be worth it to inquire if they'd be willing to pick one up for you if you want one.

Anyone know of a family member that can buy one?

You can get torches on Craigslist for $800 or possibly even less.

I bought one for $800 and one for $900 on Friday.

VANOC workers got a chance to buy the backup torches, probably for about $400 or $500, so a lot of them are being flipped.

Even the prices on eBay have plummeted from about $1500 to under $1000 in a span of about three days.

Shouldn't be any lineups... there were still lineups the first two days after the Olympics, but by Wednesday you can walk right in... but it's only crap nobody wants that's left...
