Had this happen to me. Blocked by a Toyota Sienna in front of me, and a truck was behind. He honks I make the left and the fucker decides to tailgate me all the way to the driveway to my school. He backed off after a brake check though.
If I needed to defend myself in a road rage incident and the guy coming after me had a pipe, I have my steering wheel lock either on the passenger side floor or in my empty back seats. Hopefully something like that never happens.
I've had this happen to me on HWY 1, some prick VW Golf Driver was mergining on to the highway and wasn't speeding up to traffic so i had to speed up and go around him. He saw me pass him and floored it to catch up to me, then he started to inch right into me from the left lane and pretty much had me on the side of the hwy then slammed his brakes. got out of his car and started running towards my car, I was ready to jump out and kick his ass (I'm 260 6' 4" and he looked like 180 5' 10"). But I managed to reverse and merge quickly onto the hwy while almost smoking his door that he left open..
im 150lbs 5'10 asian guy...i know for a fact, that when i get into a road rage incident that leads me to get out of my car...i better bring something with me to get the advantage, or im not getting out.
edit: know how and when to pick you fights...dont fight someone with a fist the size of a paw when yours is the size of a cellphone....
that asian guy deserves to get fucked up...you get out, you better fucking win...or you'll look like a fucktard...especially infront of your gf.......i bet she will dump him in the comming days...for 2 reasons.... first reason; shit starter...second reason for being fucking weak.

OP should report it. I highly doubt the drivers will be charged because it's hard to prove who actually started the fight but any report that is filed will remain on that drivers file and maybe he'll think twice about going all ape shit.
And my friend was in similar incident a few years back. He got out of his car and pushed the other driver to the ground and got back in his car and drove off. A week later he got a call from a cop and said the other driver filed a report with a witness. My friend never got charged but that report is still on his name so if he gets into another road incident you can bet that he'll be charged.
it's a pretty simple concept but not everyone applies it or cares for that matter. if you make a mistake, wave to apologize. same goes for when people willingly yield for you, thank them with a wave.

I don't know what some of you guys were watching, but when the asian guy got out, i'm sure he was assuming that he was going to fight one on one. The second the white guy in the blue truck threw a punch, his friend jumped in as well. So in reality, it was 2v1. Besides, the civic couldn't even drive off either; he was block from the front and side.

really.. i couldn't see that from my car. i was maybe 2 or 3 cars behind and on the outside lane. i did notice that the black truck was parked in front of the civic after i walked out of my car though.
Same similar shit happened to me tonight. 7:00pm No.4 and Alderbridge. Fucking Rmd. Following this white guy in a bike and then we had to merge into Alderbridge on the right, I downshifted to slow down. Then fucker slams on his bike and stops and I almost reared him.
He gets off his bike and starts bitching saying I was tail-gating him, WTFF? I clearly had 1 and a 1/2 car space at least and by slamming and stopping his bike out of no where, I almost hit him.

^ I don't know, but iirc batons are legal to carry. It just depends on the justifications of your actions utilizing them. I have one at home, but I would never place it in my car, just in case someone breaks into it and manages to steal it.
