RS theoretical 1000hp build thread What car would you buy and what kind of mods would you do to get your car to output 1000hp? 850whp now the rule: there's no point to just start listing the most expensive car parts, biggest turbo or the cars like bugatti veyron in this case. The point is tuning, and building best performance for the bang of the buck. Must list estimated hours to tune/install parts too. I'll start: Car: 1993 Toyota Supra TT $30,000 Parts: GReddy T88H @ 33PSI 1000cc injectors HKS 272 Intake/exhaust Cam AEM EMS HKS twin power ignition 3" down pipe, mid pipe 4" intake HKS Waste Gates Headers 3" inter-cooler Cost of parts: $12,000 Estimated Labour: 60 hours at $60/hr = $3600 Total cost: $45,600 |
Your gonna make 1000hp on 3" exhaust? You sure? and what the fuck do you mean... Headers? Its called a manifold, and it holds the turbo. There are no Headers dood. Berz out. |
I'd just buy a John Kaase Big Block Ford Mountain Motor: http://image.carcraft.com/f/26620714...ck_engine+.jpg 815CID 1720Hp 1300Ft/Lb Naturally Aspirated Cost: $45000 |
That doesn't really into the bang for buck theory but.... nice numbers lol. Berz out. |
$26 per guaranteed horsepower is not bad if you think about it. How many riceboys spend $300 on an intake for MAYBE a 3 horsepower gain on their N/A civics? |
D16y8 stock internals GT600 |
Car: Bugatti Veyron Parts: Stock Cost of parts: $0 Estimated Labour: $0 Total cost: $1.8 mil /done. |

  ok |
Is reliability an issue here? I'm thinking not unless your theoretical supra has theoretical free rebuild theoretical free improved head gasket theoretical free head studs theoretical free forged pistons theoretical free shall I continue? |
this tread is fucking stupid, what happens after you build your 1000hp internet car? get a high five? |
no, u wait for it to blow |
civic or integra, but it has to be type R. revscene stickers, lots of them. |
Stickers are 10hp each, and everybody knows that. Slap on 100 of them in finely tuned areas, and you're good to go. |

sorry this is a dumb thread |
go to canadian tire and buy all the goodies!! |
I'd just buy this. |

Wow, this is like the ultimate bench racer thread. prices, parts, theoretical dyno hp numbers, e-wallets, the e-wang is huge in this thread |
I'll be the first, not the last to throw down the Fox body mustang. It will win this best value race for sure, with some reliability. I'll wait for iceman to chime in with how much it would cost and what to run. but it will be the cheapest in the long run. If reliability wasn't an issue, and you took drivetrain loss into it (1000hp motor, not at wheels) then a 91 AWD DSM will do it for a lil more money, but not as much as your supra. |

2: Injectors are way too small 3: Exhaust is good for BPU. Not for 1khp Titan and Boostlogic make 5" exhausts for a reason. 4: 3" Intercooler piping? GL with heat. 5: No Intake mani? You're pushing alot of PSI through those tiny intercooler pipes, and you're gonna keep it restricted at the manifold? 6: All Supras have been beat on. Every single one. I see you didn't post a price for a rebuild. Parts + labour alone you're looking at more than $3600 or whatever you posted for your build. Your build would probably get about 5-600hp before something blows up. No way in hell are you getting 1000hp. edit: - Fuel pump? - Fuel rails? - You're doing cams for 1000hp, but you're not upgrading other parts of the head? - Cam gears? Timing is the number 1 killer next to oil and fuel starvation. - + a bunch of other things. Your build sucks. |
boostaholic's ride: car: porsche boxster 1. topless mom with the top-down = $600 = -60hp 2. tasting own jizz = ??? = + 830hp 3. bouncers for house party = $120 x 6 hours = $480 = + 200hp total bhp: 970..not quite there yet |

Start with 5.0 Foxbody... actually, I'd want something a bit more modern so I'd start with a 2005+ GTO and go from there |
Car: Any Parts: SoundRacer V10 - $49.99 Screw theoretical numbers. All it needs to do is sound like a beast. |
