google chrome 5.0 Is so fucking fast. Thats all i gotta say Using it right now and i can see a big different on page loading compare to the previous chrome. Still in beta but hell it work =) |
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA awesome ad. |
I just downloaded Chrome, I'm impressed. |
I'd be using Chrome as my main browser, except it crashes so much for me. Now my main browser is Pale Moon, which is basically just a Firefox build compiled for modern (post Athlon XP) processors with a bunch of useless crap removed. It is functionally identical otherwise. |
im still old fashioned and using IE8. fast enough for me. |
chrome since chrome was out. i love it. don't regret it. everyone should love it. |
Its got fast loading times, but ive had some incompatibility issues on it. The adblock plugin for it too is TERRIBLE. And ironically enough, chrome runs slower on my netbook then firefox does |
Using it on a MB. Way faster than Safari. Thanks OP! |
i havent jumped ship because downloading files on chromes is a PIA compared to IE. I cant figure out where to pull up the download progress window after i minimize it. |
Chrome is fast, I use it 75/25 with FF because of compatibility issues and yes, the adblocker sucks balls. |

I have Chrome installed but I can't give up Adblock Plus. |
is this new chrome just the newest beta u can download from their site? |
^ Yes. I've switched over as well. Opera seemed a bit clunky for me, and whenever I try to re-install Firefox, my antivirus goes apeshit, and the browser crashes frequently and randomly redirects to some stupid ad. And yes, I've run a virus scan and nothing about the mystery infection has come up. |
I use Opera for my netbook. Google is improving and all, but the adblock plugin as mentioned above should be that of Firefox adblock plus before I make the switch. |

https://chrome.google.com/extensions...biglidom?hl=en Works quite well actually. I love Chrome. I was a huge FF fan before, but the lightness and simplicity of Chrome really sold me. |
I've been using chrome for a while and its awesome would not go back |
I just switched to Chrome, just to try it out. It's much quicker than IE and the setting is very similar too. I care less about the adblocking issue for now since I have 100Mbps internet + large monitor + chrome loads fast!. |
Yeah with today's PC's and internet speeds, I wonder why people see the need to block ads still. Most 'real' sites don't use obtrusive ads anyway, only the scammy pirate and porn sites do... Makes me wonder how many people are blocking RS ads? |

For RS, the AwesomeBar can't be blocked... which is pretty pro. |
does it have print preview yet?? I alway wanted to switch to chrome since i found firefox takes a much longer time to startup and load certain pages. (even the older version) But no print preview really really turned me off. |
i just swtiched over to the beta. pretty awesome. a few nuisances is certain things dont open but i think it might be bugs of the beta, and also there's no option to just open or run a download like in IE, you have to download the file first which can get anoying when just trying to view an attachment without wanting to download it.otherwise im getting pretty used to it and it's super fast. The bookmark system can also be refined. |
im still using firefox... except lately it crashes a lot.... and it takes up soooooo much memory (i know im supposed to clear history and dl list etc; but i like the history) would u say chrome is better than FF? id download it to test it out but i hate downloading a tonne of trials/betas etc cuz im too lazy to do a clean up to wipe em out if i dont like em |
way better than ff imo. i hate ff, so slow |
chrome is the shit lol |
