Isn't it great, though?

JK......... I go early in the morning - when they open. Most young people are like zombies, so they sleep in and miss out, LOL.

As for gaming consoles and games, I get 20% off at Shoppers on seniors day. Plus I get points. Too bad Shoppers doesn't have a great selection. New released games are worth it. Yeah, a little off topic.

hchang 08-24-2014 11:00 AM

So there's no tax today as well?

Tim Budong 08-24-2014 01:20 PM

flyer says it was yesterday only

Well I went around 10am on Saturday and by the time I left, there was a steady stream of people coming INTO the store (in Richmond). I avoid grocery shopping on weekend afternoons at all costs!

impulseX 09-12-2014 01:45 PM

No tax this weekend. Saturday and Sunday

kiwee 09-12-2014 05:55 PM

Flyer shows PS4s on sale too at $469

hotjoint 09-13-2014 12:36 AM

Yeah I picked up my ps4 in June when they had their last no tax deal. Saved about $60 in taxes. Would totally get that destiny bundle.

hchang 09-13-2014 09:48 AM

Just got home from superstore went in at around 845

Got the toshiba 50 ", PS4 Destiny Bundle, HDMI cable and turtle beach headset

The price on the toshiba is 498 for anybody interested, reg price I think was 700-750. It said price was too hot to list on flyer.

Got some groceries on the way out and also for spending 200+ they give you a choice of a knorr dinner pack or .35 off per liter superstore gas up to $250

Steady stream of people were rolling in though, and I think there's only a few toshibas per store. The one I went to had 3

impulseX 09-13-2014 01:40 PM

this was the source i had. unless i misinterpretted it

Real Canadian Superstore Flyer Roundup: No Tax Weekend (Sep 13-14) , $2.97 Delissio Thin Crispy Crust Pizza, $1 Colgate Toothpaste - RedFlagDeals.com

MG1 11-28-2014 03:34 PM

6o4__boi 06-26-2015 02:19 PM

Just went to ss Grandview. They said no tax event tomorrow.

$748 for 58" Samsung smart tv is tempting lol

flagella 06-26-2015 02:57 PM

Is it the smart TV? That's pretty good deal, even better than $690 during boxing day sales but with taxes of course.

mr_chin 06-26-2015 05:29 PM

superstore gotta be making a lot of money to keep having these no tax events.

GLOW 06-26-2015 07:04 PM

b/c if you're not buying a specific big box item like a $750 TV, people end up spending $200+ when they normally spend $50 and look at their receipt and realize they're only saving like $2.50 in taxes :ilied:

Vansterdam 06-27-2015 11:13 AM

is this for granview hwy only or other locations as well

jjson 06-27-2015 11:28 AM

^other locations as well. Confirmed metro

alex.w *// 06-27-2015 11:09 PM

godwin 06-27-2015 11:20 PM
