ive bought the last few iterations of street fighter... but its just not the same to me playing @ home rather than the arcade... even with the online play :/
Eurogamer thinks that Capcom's Yoshinori Ono is hinting that Street Fighter X Tekken will have a four player option. The article reads:
When Eurogamer asked Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono if Street Fighter X Tekken also includes four-player fighting, he replied: "Just look at my face and imagine. I'm sending you psychic signals.
"Eventually I'll have to answer that question."
From this statement, Eurogamer believes that Ono is hinting that Street Fighter X Tekken will have a four-player option, but from the quote alone, it seems pretty ambiguous. Perhaps Ono's face or psychic signals somehow provided more insight than this quote on its own did.
A couple of readers suggested there could be a four-player option in a story yesterday though, because Ono said a hint of things to come is hidden in one of the recently released gameplay trailers for the title, and that people should look very closely at the clip for what the game will eventually allow them to do.
Regardless, in typical Ono fashion, there's a lot of room left open for interpretation, so take this how you will.
tried the game for about 5 hours at my friend's place. I played AE religiously, and UMVC3.
To be honest I probably won't get into this one, the game mechanics are in the middle of AE and Marvel, there are still some fundamentals but I prefer the slower paced SF.
Not sure if anyone still plays Street Fighter x Tekken on the PS3, but:
SFxT Costumes are free from what is supposedly a glitch. Go into the actual game store (not the Playstation Store) and go to Costumes ---> Grab Packs. There'll be something without a price tag, you can grab all 38 costumes for free through there.
Just downloaded it a few minutes ago and confirmed still working! It's worth about $10 for free. Sony dun goofed!

Glad someone else got the freebie! My primary PSN ID is: SuperbadPinoy325, but when it comes to online, I'm most likely on my troll account GaveUrMomAFacial (LOL)
Feel free to add me up on both! I'd love to get back into the game!

buddy was looking for a copy of this the other day along with ultimate marvel vs capcom 3.... seems like copies of both games are starting to become limited.. he went through like 3 EB stores and they didnt have it and only to manage to find a copy of SXT used for $24 at FS..
there is plenty of vita version and regular MvC3, but the console version are starting to deplete, im assuming the liscence to namco and marvel are gonna end soon
anyone who hasnt bought this game yet better pick it up, its only a matter of time until it becomes a collectors item like MvC2, SNK vs Capcom and Tatsunoko vs Capcom
