the closest i got was actually ... killing kerrigan for the last time but the game goes on for i guess another 10 - 20 seconds and that's when i lose ...
i save my artifact till the very end until kerrigan comes out the last time and i use it so i can focus fire on kerrigan ... but in the 15 second fight with her the zerg mass so fast and destroy the artifact AFTER i kill kerrigan
i keep loading this file cause i really dont wanna start over but it's just not working ... anyone got any strategies | has ANYONE done it? been trying for a little over 8 hours now
still can't do it ... came close twice ~ both times reached 99.8%

should have chose to kill the airs.... nydus worm is much easier to deal with...
i did all the achievement on brutal in 1 run.. it wasn't too hard.. here are some tips:
1)basically block all enterence with planetary fortress(if you didn't get PF research like me, then just block with rax) and alots of tanks...
2)i got banshee to kill nydus worm, but i guess for you, u need vikings to kill the muta and brodlords
3)get 4-5 thors to handle kerrigan, u can stun her with the thor special, so if you micro right, with 4-5 thor u can nontop stunning her and she won't be able to do anything(but you will lose a thor or two to her 1 hit ko skill)
4) towards the end when you start getting overwhelmed, move all ur forces up to the platform with the artifacts and again block all enterence and ditch your base
5) when you start getting overwhelmed on the platform, then use the artifact...
i only used the artifact once at 99.5% and this was on brutal...
also, manual save ALOT, don't count on the auto save.
basically everytime kerrigan shows up, you should save, if you screwed up by losing too much units to her, then just reload and try that part again.
if you didn't lost much then save again.

this is my second time around ~ i did nydus worm first time ~ wanted to try something new ... BAD CHOICE
im kinda going the ... bunker + tank + the fire turret thing route
and when kerrigan comes i yamato her like crazy + banshee her
vikings are just flying around picking off all the brood lords ... and at the end i do put everthing on top of the platform and use artifact when kerrigan comes out for the last time so basically it's her by herself vs all my units but for some reason when i finish fighting her there's mass zerg units again and now the 3 times i've come close it exploeds at 99.8% = =
but i guess ... keep trying

don't waste the artifact on kerrigan herself... im not sure on ur difficultly, but on brutal the artifact doesn't even scratch kerrigan much. just use thor + tanks combo to kill her.
use the artifact when ur getting over run by mass unit since ur tank would't be able to keep up.

ya i realize the thor method for killing her must work way better ~ that's something imma do ... but i use the artifact near the end cause that's when my defenses start to fail
im doing it on hard ... trying to get that third achievement ~ can only use artifact once on hard difficulty
but thanks ... imma try using thor now

beat campaign, first try basically on the last mission i restarted 5 minutes in on the first try, took the air route
basically built a shit load of turrets and bunkers, continuously building units, bunkers, and turrets
so with that ending to the game, how are the other games going to unfold? are you just following the zerg and pro sides through what happened with the terrans? wil be pretty boring if thats the case

WOW. battle net just dropped me out of 2 games (which equates to losses), and dropped one of my opponents (win). It was loss, win, loss.. (thought I could get away with more wins after my opponent dropped :P). Anyone else get the same problem?

you either dc'd from bnet or there is some lag. When I was doing some achievements today it took a good 5 min for them to show up.

It says mission Achievements.
You only have:
-Hold the Line
and
-Cash Reward.
Or at least those are the ones that are highlighted.
Some of the achievements are only available in certain difficulties.
