And I have already found myself storing my wallet in my backpack.

I'm upgrading to a big ass smartphone in a month or so, and since I'm married to my mp3 player, this pushes me squarely into murse category.

One of my friends has a belt bag, It looked ok on his casual clothes.
But I can't imagine walking around the office in a suit with a belt bag.

So serious help would be appreciated.

Also, no, a belt clipped cellphone is not a consideration.
You can't imagine walking around the office with a belt bag but you can with a murse?

I'm sorry, but a murse does not belong in the office. Wear a leather/black messenger bag like a normal person. I don't know what you carry but I bring my BlackBerry, ipod, keys, and wallet to work and I don't have any need for a bag. For the rare time I take documents home from work, I'll bring a messenger bag since a murse would be useless anyways.

to tell you the truth, i can SEE how murse would be ideal but just cause a fanny pack is great, i won't rock out on it as a fashion statement.

Keys, Wallet, Phone is all i carry.
It's when you want to carry gum & sunglasses that it gets overload. I mean if you're wearing prada, oakleys, you can't really put them in your pocket at 9 PM at night....

if i am really tight for space, i use a condensed wallet which is just 2 credit card, debit + drivers and 200 dollars (usually when i'm in a suit)

so.. did you find a murse yet? haha
if you haven't yet then i think a side bag is perfectly fine too.. it won't get you labelled as 'hardcore' or whatever. i've got a diesel side bag and gotta say its very useful. also you can fit so much more stuff in there than a murse. yet another alternative!

Well, it seems like all the old guys wear their blackberries on belt holsters.
I can't really picture myself doing that, I think it looks totally lame.

What I'm wondering is, how do I walk around the office with my big 4" touchscreen?
My office clothes aren't the most comfy already, my pockets barely fit my old school motorola L7 SLVR as is. There is no way I can tote around my smartphone.

Same goes for my commute, I ride decked out in motorcycle gear and all, there is no room in my leather riding jacket for a smart phone.

So yeah, any more thought would be appreciated.

Diesel and Gstar has some murses, some look more like small messenger bags. You don't strap it on your chest, it's more like they hang near your waist.

I'm not really a judgmental person nor fashion police, but if you like the murse I suppose buy it. People have different taste, I would never wear one because everything that I need fit in my pockets. But the minute that murse/purse of yours is name branded I start to think otherwise. Again that's just me. I wear clothes with small logos or plain and simple. I don't need to rep I'm wearing this brand in order to impress. That's just brand advertisement. If you're buying that murse for convenience for yourself, that's cool. If it's for you and not to increase your self confidence, then go ahead and buy it with confidence.

However, when I was young and dumb I repped Ed hardy and everything that showed it's fucking name. I'll admit it was for my confidence. Now I can pick up chicks in sweats and hoodies so my perspective of clothes and fashion have changed.

Like Dave Chappelle said, mens priority in life is woman. Womens priority in life is material. Now, men buy nice cars because woman like nice cars. Not because men like nice cars. Woman love comfortable environment, so we buy the biggest house. However, if we could fuck any woman in a cardboard box, we wouldn't even buy a car or a house haha.

Woops, I got sidetracked off topic. The first paragraph is my 0.02

put your stuff in your bike's storage compartment. that's where my phone and wallet goes when i squid it out.

I use one of these to carry all my stuff:
Wallet, gum, sunglasses, iPod, Work phone, personal phone, water bottle, transit booklet, lunch.

And I take it with me when i go travelling.

http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_d...34374302699713

I can honestly say, its the best $20 I have ever spent.

One of my Russian coworkers (the type you don't fuck with) carries something similar to this. I think it is a good compromise cause it looks like a small briefcase than a purse. Plus it is carry only, none of this over the shoulder satchel crap.

^Nothing wrong with carrying.

Whenever I see an Asian dude with a murse, I want to punch him in the face.
