Did the chopper's engine just cut out?
there's just no possible way the national guards were wiped out....it's not like they were sniped from rooftop all at once

when i was watching it, i thought i heard bullets hitting the chopper. i think their engine was shot by the governor and his crew.

the national guards were sniped by the governor's guys that were in the bushes.

I forgot how much I hated "Andrea".
I wished she was eaten by the zombies.

So far season 3 has been going very well. I love the way they are delveloping the storyline.

By the way.. does anyone else think there's something up with that tea? The doctor/scientist kept trying to push the tea on everyone and the governor said he needed him for the tea. Is it just me over analyzing??

the national guard bit was kinda weak to me, like I thought these guys were highly trained fighters, they didn't even get a shot off lol, I woulda liked to have seen a decent back and forth shootout before they got murked out lol.

Why would the national guard be "highly trained fighters" on some level like the Rangers or Seals or whatever else ?
it's the friggin National Guard, they're there to respond to emergencies like the one hurricane that's currently sweeping the eastcoast right now, that's what they're trained for.
They do have combat training, but they're not trained for some crazy tactical warfare or some shit where they can engage in complicated firefights or what have you.

That scene was realistic enough for a TV show and for the sake of the plot.
Besides, if they went about trying to be a 100% realistic in this show, half of the group wouldn't have made it, how many walkers has the group killed in close range where there would have been enough blood exchange to turn them into walkers, either by scratches or blood spurt on them.
But instead they only turn when they get bitten hard..... Movies, TV shows they're all done this way for the sake of the keepin them going, if they did everything super realistic then it wouldn't work.
If a movie was done in detail the same way it's book counterpart was for example like so many nerds and "purists" love to complain about, I'll tell you right now that fuckin movie would easily be 5+ hours long

and that scene where andrea and michonne are hiding in the bush lol was like wow.. ur gonna get spotted for sure
