clicking on a thread about a tv show pretty much entails there are going to be discussions on the latest episode..meaning spoilers on what has already aired
those that want to talk about how the show is progressing with respect to the comics are keeping it in the spoiler warnings...stuff not aired yet that can ruin the suspense for the show-only followers

I try not to post comic spoilers unless people ask for them and even then, I post them in spoiler tags...sometimes more than one.

It's impossible to separate the two. It's inevitable that someone asks "Is this how it happens in the comic?"

I feel like a hypocrite.

I gave the comics a chance after I finished the first season and craved more walking dead but didn't like it.

But I gave it another shot last night and damn I was hooked. Once you get passed the parts that are similar to the TV show you stop comparing the two it's pretty damn good. Quite intense as well.

Now do I start putting up spoiler tags for the comics after I was saying how much I didn't like them....lol

Does anyone love to hate this show? Every episode I vow not to watch another cause of the horrible plot holes, yet get sucked back in wanting to know what happens next.

I'm glad I haven't seen the comics, if I knew what was coming I'd have stopped watching long ago.

Same here. Plot holes are horrible but the story kind of make up for it.

If you are referring to the episode where shane and otis run away from the zombies yet barely gain distance, but are able to gain good distance when they are limping then yes, I agree that wasn't done very well.

But overall I think the varying speeds of zombies makes sense. Just like how humans are. It also depends on how long they've been a zombie for and what kind of injuries they had. Possibly lack of food?

These kind of things aren't plot holes but rather things not yet discussed in the show.


As for new characters I think you're referring to the last episode where Hersel's son was asking to help with the search. He was in other episodes but had no prominent role and so wasn't remembered. It's impossible for a show to fuck up that badly.

those of you who say "i hate watching this show because of (some lame reason) but watch it anyway" guess what, you're watching it because its entertaining. seriously, what else are you going to watch anyway? its a pretty good hour of TV and better than most of the other shit on tv anyway. maybe over exposure to shiny objects on the internet has given you the attention span of a gnat. 2 minute youtube clips and nothing else. stop looking for small plot holes to try to ruin the show in your mind and take it for what its worth. and try to imagine yourself in the situation. thats the great part about shows like this.

Finally they making Andrea into the badass she's supposed to be.

When episode 1 came out I thought they would find Sophia in the same episode. I didn't expect it to drag on this long geez. I want them to get back on the road soon.
