I did a lot work on this one because I like Toyota and would like to make kit around one.

On this Civic, the rear window would be taken out, fiberlgass added, and a new plastic glass put in place.

bro i was on your side until i saw that civic LOL. Come on, you could do like a hatchback conversion of the newer civics or something but a exotic style civic is not appealing to anyone.

Yes and with enough layers it could be stronger then the previous flimsy stock 300zx bumper... just ask any owner that has taken one apart.

I've taken my Z32 further apart then 95% of the Z32 members on this site, and trust me, our stock bumper is flexible, not flimsy.

I disagree, auto enthusiasts dont buy all the cars and I will also be selling my kit assembled as a whole car.

Am I the only one who picked up on this? So you're going to go out and buy 300ZX's (all of which are in various states), convert them, then sell them?

Arash 09-16-2010 09:54 PM

Yes but not all at once.

Newer Civic hatchbacks conversions Soltaaa77? Please, anyone add your contributions and idea, lets see who racks up the least fails :D

Yes, I will make a car lip in the next few days.

I would also like 2010 Mazda 3 headlights for the car but that will have to wait as a future option... can anyone get a discount on these?

exhil 09-16-2010 11:31 PM

i just..cant..believe this...

boatcaptain 09-16-2010 11:34 PM

so can you make me the aston martin front conversion??

Arash 09-16-2010 11:51 PM

I have lots of projects ahead of me and by the time Im free to start the Aston Mini, it might not be feasible unless lots of other owner like the conversion but feel free to use the idea and find someone to make it.

I think you've been breathing in too much fiberglass resin in an enclosed space for too long.

Why, what would be the benefit of that? It would be easier to sell a kit that the buyer installs.

The_AK 09-17-2010 09:07 AM

This thread is stupid, why isn't this in fc yet?

^ The gracious politeness to this guy has astounded me. I remember once upon a time when far less would have resulted in a fucking nuclear flamewar.

CorneringArtist 09-17-2010 03:31 PM

^ I don't know if people are holding back because of his adamant stance on his plans, or time have in fact changed. Of course, I wasn't around in the early days of RS.

Arash 09-17-2010 03:55 PM

Ive had the equivalent of cyber feces thrown at me before... which I ducked... so I wont be bothered. But yes, lets move the thread to a build diary section if you guys have one.

I called a Mazda dealership and they would sell me 2010 3 series headlights but it costs $300+ each, so obviously anyone interested in the kit can opt for better parts if wanted.

One can make more profit selling it as a whole. Some people across the states or Europe might order my kit but will still need a body shop to disassemble, cut and re-bolt the kit to the donor car (300zx).
If anyone would like to be a re-seller or just find customers for commission, read my 3 page thread at Nico.

It's a combination of both.

CorneringArtist 09-17-2010 04:38 PM

That thread STILL had you being lit up until you posted evidence, and even then people were still skeptical. All you've done is talk about your business plans, you want this happening, and this happening once I make X profit, yet all I see is a lot of motivation, and a very questionable kit, especially if you intend trying to sell at stock height.

I don't see very many of these selling at your price point, unless someone wanted to be THAT diverse in the Z crowd. I'm not too keen on the 300ZX, but at least I know there's more alternatives that are cheaper and more stylish when it comes to front bumpers. Those options even leave enough room to get coilovers and some nice flush rims.

I credit your drive, but your target market is way too optimistic.

Same thing happens here with members being skeptical and making mache jokes.

That thread is a business plan itself, written and discussed on the internet.

I re-read your previous post about you not liking the design but to someone else on the street, they might love my car. What Ive created is not the same designed 300zx... like every girl or different species of flower, my car is a new design. Like this car, its a design that will go down in history.

^ doesnt look half bad actually.....the foglights could prolly work too

Arash 09-17-2010 07:52 PM

After finding out I was allowed to order 2010 headlights from the dealer I think I might as well do the fog lights and its black housing too.
