If Rona, Lowes, and Home Depot are closed, where can I buy road/side-walk salt at this time of night?

I seem to remember being able to get it at gas stations...am I wrong?

Only Superstore.......... Walmart is not participating. So, Superstore won the battle, I guess.

The Stanley rolling one is a good deal. I like it because I can dump all my electric tools, blades etc in it and just bring them all around with easy access and all sorted. Just be aware, once full of things, it can be a pain to load onto trucks or anything with high clearance.

I think they are rebranding Stanley FatMax to the DeWalt line.

I have this one as well, and I love it. At $60 I'd be tempted to grab a second one.

Most malls have a poster-and-calendar kiosk somewhere.

Oh yeah......... I got one when they first came out. I bought it on sale at 89.00 back then....... damn it.

I even wrote a review on Canadian Tire's website.

I keep all my hobby stuff in it. Bottom section holds all my Tamiya paints and second layer the spray paints.

We have 5 of them at work, LOL. At 60 bucks, it's a steal.

I see more and more of them at the track. It rolls nicely. The only complaint I have is it cannot be locked.

I did! I actually ended up going to Sears Home Store on Sumas Way in Abby (gotta plug them because they were AWESOME). Pretty much everywhere that listed the Panasonic model had a 2+ week wait for it, and most of them were right about the same price ($210-$230).

I called Sears on Wed. the 18th and talked to Michelle - she was really cheerful (without being sickeningly so) and seemed really interested in helping me rather than just in making the sale. When I told her the model I was after, she said it would be about 10 days to get it in, which right there was faster than anyone else. She also told me it would be going on sale from their regular price of $219, down to $175, as of the 20th, but if I ordered it right away and paid the full price, I'd get a refund on the discounted amount when I picked it up.

Good enough deal, I whipped down to the store a whole 5 minutes away, paid it up, got my receipt, and headed home (really nice, clean store, too).

Barely 24 hours later, I got a call from a slightly-familiar number: it was another clerk at Sears Home to let me know the microwave was in! I headed down (shipping dock is open until 9, as well as the store), showed the shipper my receipt, he had me sign off... then carried the microwave out to the Jeep for me.

Now I don't know about other Sears locations, but I would give this one six stars out of five for all-around customer service. Everyone I dealt with was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. If I was still living in Pitt Meadows, I'd make the drive to this store... thankfully I'm just five minutes away now

Nope... found out our neighborhood is actually called "Old Abbotsford" - Old Yale, just off Sumas.

Stick with name brands that have the CSA mark on them like Belkin etc.. if the thing catches on fire, at least the insurance companies won't have a leg to stand on.
