the whole point of a miata is not to slow in, fast out of a corner. it is to maintain as much speed as possible through the corner. ie. fast in, fast out.
don't believe the little miata can whoop ass? go to even just any random autocross event. there are things a miata can't do, other cars simply just can't touch.
any dumbass can drive a high power car fast.

I think Miata owners take all this crap from people who've never even driven one because they know that their cars are more capable when the roads get twisty. Its not about power in a Miata, its all about finesse.

Good chassis + RWD > fail wheel drive, unless all you do is get groceries or fartcan down No. 3 road all Friday night.

Maybe I'm in the extreme minority, but I don't care how great a car handles, how much power it has, or how much of an extension it is of my own body - if the car looks ugly, I won't like it.
 Doesn't matter if it's a Miata or an MC12.

I wouldn't feel comfortable driving what I perceive to be an ugly car.

 | I am the exact opposite. I don't care what the car looks like on the outside, as long as its nice inside and performs well.

Miatas are rather fun little cars. Cheap too. Pity they've got that homo stigma.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some are unique so I posted. If you don't like it, then fcking ignore it, or might as well worship the car in your display pic.
I mean after all, a lot of people are gonna think this car is hot right? | | | | | 11-07-2010, 11:44 PM | #44 | | Need to Seek Professional Help

I realize that Miata's are amazing in regards to AutoX and racing events. However I can't get past the fact that when seen on the street, its always an woman driving them.
However you want to cut it, its still a Woman's car.

but wat defines as a woman's car? just because of the size? I've seen plenty male miatas drivers...IMO i dun think any car defines as a man or woman's car...as long as it suits ur need, and u find a smile on ur face everytime u drive it...then it's car for u. y define a car by sex...as for whoever kept saying power is everything, u can't say a car suks just because it's a low power car...power isn't the only thing in performance, it also factors in handling, balance. If u can only talk about pure power and stomp on any other car that doesn't quite have the power....then u must be one stubborn ass

Miata sounds so gay. Call it the MX-5 and it instantly gain masculinity. Just like how they no longer call Harry Potter 7 Harry Potter 7. It's HP7 bitches

You're only making 250hp modded?
GO Check the lap times for Fastest STOCK miata vs Fastest STOCK RSX. @ MISSION
Miata only needs 170hp crank to match your straight line.
You got no right to brag. Here is why:
Miata
stock All wishbone suspension
stock Camber adjustment
stock Camber Pattern
stock WEIGHT: 2200 lbs FULL Load. + Spare tire groceries etc.
stock Multiple LSD options.
stock Hyper short gear ratios (Integra TYPE R territory)
stock TURBO READY motor. RWD
FLIP UP HEADLIGHTS! (depending on year)
(Now that's a recipe for a sports car) There is a reason why MAZDA SPECIFICALLY did not put more power in to that car. Find out why before you talk shit laaaaaaaaaaa diiiiiuuuuuu.
lol And for the record, My RSX is a grocery car! + My Autobox Integra is faster then my rsx. That's the painful truth.

I think this is one of the few rare miatas that don't suffer from that homo stigma that said, modded miata can look nice after all ! But still, stock is less than flattering... Quote: |
