No need to feel guilty, friend. Sometimes, your own safety comes first. There will be others who have the time and proper equipment to lend a hand. I assume there were others on the road/hill? Need to call 911 if it looks bad and you're the only one to have seen it.

Other than that................hope everyone who had to drive in the Vancouver/Burnaby area, had a safe journey this morning.

No Snow, No Rain, In Richmond, However, the sky is covered with grey clouds and looks like it could rain any moment.

It was pretty crazy out there this morning at 6am! Maybe I'll post up a video later on a truck getting stuck around the boundary and joyce area.

I love how in vancouver if there's snow on the lawns/sidewalks, but none on the streets, people can still justify driving 20km/hr to themselves  This one driver on victoria held up two busses and a long ass line of traffic because she chose to go 20km/hr from a few blocks before 49th ----> past 41st.

The question is, are they still with their all seasons tires?

If so, the tires becomes useless if its below 5 or 7 degrees

:smug:

I think I drove past that truck, it was a white cube truck right? Another car was stuck right beside him.

It just started to snow in Surrey. Not really sticking as of yet but we'll see how that goes.

icemiko 02-29-2012 11:50 AM

This morning, Lexus stuck on Rupert/22nd and Civic infront of me stuck while trying to turn right on Nanaimo onto 33rd.

Is anyone having problems getting traction on any streets in Metro Vancouver right now? Are buses able to make it up to SFU today? That pic of SFU is from yesterday as clearly stated, with a bus. Go up there now and you can see the grass is green and roads are bare.

I think MindBomber is trying to boost his own ego and justify his need for winter tires when it is clear that the winter season is pretty much over and winter tires were not needed at all. :alone:

Snows gone pizza boy. Like you on a Saturday night... it never came. :fuckyea:

I guess you're higher up (Plateu or Como Lk.?) cause it's barely raining by Riverview.
