Canada Line is currently delayed by a train that's stuck due to snow and ice on the Fraser River Bridge. Crews are working on getting the train moving, but there's no word how long that will take.

lol, people depend on transit in the snow.........and it fails.

The laws of environment and physics still apply to transit.

Do you want to pay for a cover over the entire skytrain track?

Jgresch 11-25-2010 08:56 AM

I've never been so pissed off/upset.

On Saturday/Sunday I spent both those days changing the oil on my truck, changing the spark plugs, oiling and cleaning my air filter, transmission filter change, differential fluid change, transfercase fluid change. Then I rotated my M+S tires.

I did all this because I wanted to be a douchebag on the fresh powder, do donuts in empty parking lots, powerslide around corners, and what happens? I wake up and another family member has taken my truck. Now I'm pissed off and can't go anywhere because the only other half decent car my dad's taken. The only other cars I have at my disposal is a bmw 3 series (Sucks), chrysler 300 (sucks even more), honda accord (sucks the most b/c of TCS that doesn't turn off).

There's my rant for the day. I want my truck :(

hells yeah. Ontop of that I put a fulltank of gas in it ... that may not seem like a lot to some of you but that's $90 in my truck :( I expect half of it to be gone and not refilled b/c of this family member :( Oh the rage.

Right now I'm just hoping I get it back in one piece because the aforementioned family member is of the female variety.

The_AK 11-25-2010 09:26 AM

Just drove from Richmond to SFU surrey, all-seasons, very doable just don't be a fucking retard. People really don't know how to keep a safe distance in snowy conditions. Do some people NOT have a feel for their cars?

Uh, no. People don't feel their cars... otherwise why would they buy Toyotas?! ;)

ilvtofu 11-25-2010 09:37 AM

My hankooks aren't great in the snow. A lot better in ice. Do you guys leave traction control on or off? I found it annoying this morning so I turned it off. Second gear starts = no wheel spin for me. :) people were going a little too slow this morning though. Main roads weren't even that bad. No point driving 35
