We're just coming out of a La Niņa, so March should still be cooler than average. I'd probably keep the winters on until at least late March.

I mean most highway requirement is Oct 1 to March 31st...that's probably a good guide. I only recall snow falling in April/May once or twice in Vancouver.

According to Environment Canada, the most snow recorded in a single day in April (Vancouver International Airport) was 3.8 cm on April 10, 1946 and average snow days (>0.2 cm) in April is 0.17 (approx. 1 day every 6 years).

For Vancouver, average last day with minimum temperature below 0°C is March 18.
