I was going the other way and encountered 0 problems! and went :lawl: watching the southbounders

Except the left lane hog problem is exacerbated when snow comes out :yuno:

it's frustrating to see people not clearing snow off their lights, couldn't even tell their blinkers were on! c'mon it takes 1/2 a second per corner

I had the same setup and I made it around town albeit some fish tailing and got stuck couple of times but was able to rock myself out. Unless you're really desperate I wouldn't risk it.

Stick to main roads, no hills, u should be able to manage. Add some weight to the back to have better chances on getting around

Waved at you this afternoon too, on 5 and Bridgeport. You were going straight next to Chevron, I was in the left lane, stock Civic. I saw you look over hahaha

Pretty much what others have already mentioned, it's doable with minimal slipping as long as you drive carefully and avoid hills. I had the same set up on my 335i and had to drive out two times last winter. Only really had problems when I was on hills, but never got stuck or anything. Surprisingly made it in and out of my unplowed culdasac with no problems.

Had a smooth drive to work this AM thankfully. Usually takes me 40 mins (Vancouver -> Surrey) today actually took me 35. Side streets were BAD.

Highway 91 was pretty much crystal clear, 2 thumbs up to the crews who obviously put in some work over night.

Left early for transit thinking it will be a gong show. Turns out fine. In fact there are way less people. Maybe people call in sick? I co worker couldn't make it to work though. West Coast express is having track issue.

quite a few cars on the road still don't have ABS
it doesn't have tiptronic/2 or L gear?

Michelin M+S is far far far better than Champiro Ice (Chinese m+s). Might also be the fwd +CVT vs RWD thing.

Drove from Richmond to SFU to Richmond to Surrey to Burnaby with no problems whatsoever. Nothing that scared me almost lifeless. The worst part however was Kingsway x Knight, where I couldn't stop and almost slid into intersection. I had my ebrake up, brakes locked, L gear LOL. We made it tho.

I learned that the best kinda beater is a fwd car. Better on gas than an AWD vehicle and it gets around better than rwd.

People learned from yesterday's gong show, probably call in a snow day and schools are closed which forces parents to take care of their kids.

Bro you should try this 4motion wagon. Pretty damn amazing in the snow. Haven't been stuck yet and I still get about 8.5l/100km on average.

Badhobz 02-12-2019 08:35 AM

My dogs loving it.
