Well, lets see what happens in AM. I live in Vancouver, work in Surrey...usually takes me 35 mins to get to work, will report back tomorrow AM.

I'll leave 30 min early just in case.

I don't know how common this is but my friend had her car's windshield wipers stolen off her car while she was at work. This was during the snowstorm.

I thought I heard it all but then I hear more and I lose more faith in people...

So i took my ma to Seattle premium outlet to shop and it was GLORIOUS.

The snow was insane. The wind was blowing that shit everywhere and there was almost zero visibility. There was stranded cars all over i5. I took my dad's 400h and it handled it like a champ, then i drove my hilarious 4motion home and watched all the drama on the roads from vancouver to richmond. FUCKING EPIC DAY.

P.s. snagged some great deals at Burberry

tofu1413 02-10-2019 10:53 PM

That’s a good deal on cuff links

Roads are empty at the moment. Clearly survival of the fittest!

Badhobz 02-10-2019 10:56 PM

i forgot to mention after you buy over 500 dollars at Burberry, you get another 20% off!!! PogChamp

so its like 20% off the 50 bucks cufflinks and the scarf! loving it

twitchyzero 02-10-2019 10:57 PM

only 15-20cm?

c'mon we need to put 08 and 96 to shame...moar!

tofu1413 02-10-2019 11:02 PM

More pls. Fewer cars on the road and idiots will get weeded out.

JSALES 02-10-2019 11:07 PM

I’d like to go have some fun in the snow in an empty lot before it’s all gone

twitchyzero 02-10-2019 11:18 PM

Snow in Aldergrove is knee deep. I just spent and hour digging my car out of a snow drift and making a route to the road. Thankfully it is all light powder (makes me homesick for Kamloops) and not that wet heavy shit that usually falls.

Good thing you weren't stuck behind me. You would have pulled your hairs out.

BTW Champiro Ice tires? "Snow tires" yeah uh... I had many code brown situations. Slowly but steadily got home and parked it.

You guys mean like this pic? Upper Level Corridor, North Vanhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7b3b2adcb0.jpg

Oh hey that's my pic. Must've happened no more than a few minutes by the time I drove by, first responders were still making their way to the scene. Hope the occupants are ok.

Roads are decent. Kudos to the city truck drivers. About 5 mins longer than usual from Edmonds to Children's and Women's. No issues in my FWD work van on all seasons.

IMASA 02-11-2019 06:26 AM

Drove from Richmond Steveston area to Vancouver BC Children's Hospital.
Richmond roads were somewhat sketchy, but Vancouver was fine, very nicely plowed.

we not done yet.... shitstorm part 2 coming soon...

Jmac 02-11-2019 07:14 AM

My morning:

Wake up @ 5
Leave @ 5:30
Start fiance's car
Open my car to grab parking pass for work
Go to open fiance's car, locked w/ door not fully closed

Swear a lot

Grab coat hanger, try to open door/roll down window w/ no success

Continue swearing

Call tow truck, continue trying, no success still
Tow truck just got the car unlocked, still have to clear snow, shovel car out plus probably a 2-hour commute now w/ rush hour traffic, which I would've avoided leaving @ 5:30ish

Called in, using bank time

Fuck today

Signs I am completely out of touch with the fashion world: a $480 scarf is considered an amazing deal...

Oh no, there we go. The world is back to normal. Phew!

I don't walk away from running modern cars anymore without cracking a window enough I can reach in to open the door. They don't warm up as fast, obviously, but I rent enough cars in a year I never know what's going to lock and what won't.

nismodrifter 02-11-2019 07:44 AM

Anyone drive an ITR to work today?? 91 south bound!
