This is the absolute opposite of what you should be doing. If it's cold enough you put your heat on the floor NOT on defrost. Keep your Windshield frozen and then the snow won't melt when it hits it and consequently freeze after it melts. You should be keeping your cab just warm enough to not be cold and keep the front Window frozen. When you do this the snow flakes will just blow over the car.

Berz out.

i'll trust this post since location: Smithers :nyan:

once clear i dont run defroster unless there's condensation

inner face of the windshield is quite dirty, using cheapo fluid, the only treatment on the outside is the packet that came with the PIAA silicone blades...vehicle parked in a garage before work

Trust me, its going to be a chance of cloudy skies with little to no flurries again. Dont get me wrong, I love snow and I'd wish that we would actually see some during the winter holidays but I've lost faith in our weather forecasts years ago. Best part of snow is when your job requires you to drive around running errands and you get stuck in traffic/snow but knowing u are still getting paid while watching others in frustration :D

You are right. I have lost faith in weather forecasts when it comes to snow as well. Looks like it won't be snowing much if at all 😂

Badhobz 02-08-2019 04:27 AM

how do I get a job at the weather network? I forecast that ill have a good 40% chance of doing my job adequately. Although i keep changing my story hour to hour.

I cancelled meetings today because assholes called me last night saying they wont be able to come in today if it snowed.

My poor wife went to Yohan and bought 200 dollars worth of groceries because she thought we'd be trapped in the house (ya right...) and shoudlnt go out (especially in richmond) when its snowing.

IMASA 02-08-2019 05:25 AM

Left early for work today in case of snow. Richmond to Vancouver, no snow on the ground......

blkgsr 02-08-2019 05:38 AM

people that are doing anything other than their regular lives today are idiots

1-3 cm is fuck all

6" is another story in this city of stupid drivers

but hey, stay off the roads if you think it's going to be bad, less traffic for the rest of us

jing 02-08-2019 06:19 AM

Light flurries in west Burnaby this morning an hour ago on my way to work

HonestTea 02-08-2019 07:43 AM

Nothing from my commute from Coquitlam to Richmond

mb_ 02-08-2019 07:51 AM

Nothing from North Surrey to Tri Cities on my way to work as well

winson604 02-08-2019 07:54 AM

Coworkers mentioned their commute in was significantly lighter than usual today. I'm not even concerned with my all season tires with the predication they had/have in store for us.

StylinRed 02-08-2019 09:24 AM

I see clear skies...

Liquid_o2 02-08-2019 09:34 AM

Nothing from East Van to Richmond right now

instead of spending 60% of your day on Revscene...

also I think its better to err on the side of caution. Think about it, work is pretty chill today, little to no traffic, saved 30 minutes on my commute one way, no meetings.

thumper 02-08-2019 10:48 AM

nothing but clouds of salt being kicked up by people driving by....

HonestTea 02-08-2019 11:03 AM

Even the special weather statement ended.. LOL
