I was able to build a very decent PC from using parts from NCIX sale for about $750. It would cost me $850 or more if the stuff is on regular price.

Got acer one for Xmas, but I'm gonna refund for money towards a laptop. Just ordered this, awaiting confo:

Order it; it says you have the option of pickup and they send you an email 3 hours before store hours or some shit for confirmation. I ordered the studio ones and they sent me that e-mail saying I can pick up.

Because let's say to handle the Boxing Day load, they need 200 web servers, but for the remainder of the year, 10 web servers are more than enough... it's not cost effective for them to put another 190 web servers into production just to handle the load for a few hours.
