So let me get this he's cancelled over a stupid fake story he told on a podcast trying to sound edgy in front of his pornstar cohost? The guy has never had any other allegations of rape or anything of such.

I'm really sick of this bullshit of people pulling up comments, posts, interviews from the past and using that as a means to ruin a career.

It's becoming ridiculous. Thank fucking god we didn't have phones and shit with the way my friends and I used to talk about shit in our 20's, we'd all been cancelled by now

Nobody has been cancelled

If you tell stories to make yourself sound like a creep, to sound edgy or any other reason, then everyone is going to treat you like a creep. He's the one who put it out there lol, he has nothing to complain about.

But cancelled? Nope, he's still doing TV series and everything else.

On S02E04, this is just pure soap opera drama with a higher budget. Still don't see what the hype is about.

Watched the latest episode of Ted Lasso right after when they were in Amsterdam, it's immensely better written and d creative than the white Lotus episode I just watched.

It just came out (people putting the podcast comments in the public light).

People are already saying online that Beef should be boycotted.

Curious to see if he'll get future work as a result. Look what happened to Aziz Ansari.

He never truly recovered from that hackjob date story.

Anyone watching Picard?
Season 3 has been a nostalgic, fan-service overload with the original TNG crew. The finale was awesome, and a lot of loose-ends from TNG were finally concluded. It was a fantastic swan song.

Yes it was fucking GREAT. Just unbelievably great fan service. Only thing missing was Guinan.

I'm just pissed it took them 3 tries to do it right. This is what everyone wanted all along.

The wife and I just finished watching The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, and wow, what an insane story. It's seems to unbelievable now, but I guess that's the greed of silicon valley and venture capitolists?

How much information do I need to know about Star Trek The Next Generation before I can start watching Picard?

I don't have much memory about it, only remember Captain Picard getting captured by the Borg.

First 2 seasons of Picard? Almost none but it would help to know the history of Guinan or Q and a bit about Data.

3rd season of Picard? A lot of stuff might be lost on you but I think still enjoyable... I watched TNG as a kid and barely remember anything but surprisingly a lot of stuff came back as the season progressed. There's definitely a fair amount of easter eggs for TNG fans.

My gf for example had no idea who Lore was, etc.

I liked it too BUT... I hate it when they don't continue character arcs and just drop them like they never existed.

Spoiler!

I think we should just consider season 3 as "Star Trek: Picard" and just ignore the first two seasons.

I actually literally forgot about this stuff until you mentioned it

I couldn't tell you if it would work as a standalone to non fans.. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts! To me there was so much fan service, I think it's going to lose you quite often. But the backstory is basic Star Trek Movie stuff, so it's still pretty good sci fi.

Thanks for posting. I thought the last episode (ep9) was the finale since that's how many episodes there were in other seasons, and thought to myself what kind of crap finale is this lol

Anyone watch yellowjackets? It’s pretty good, not top quality HBO stuff but a solid cast and engaging story

I think I heard about that show, is it the one with the female soccer team or something? Some people said it was pretty solid.

SUCH a great movie.
Fast pace, Great acting by Glenn Howerton. He reminds me of Ari Gold.
Obviously no need ot say it went downhill at 2009 and so glad they never dragged it out for too long. Also thankful they didn't force any dating / women love interest.

Woudl recommend. Just like Tetris.. these movies are great.

Blackberry was weaaay better than Tetris.

I'd say BB was better than Air as well.

I have Flamin' Hot on my list to watch as well.
