Why would you give the questions away to your competitors? Now there's an extra advantage for those who are getting interviews later.

Did the phone interview today, but didn't think I answered the questions the best that I could.

Anyone have any ideas when they'll contact you with a job offer? Or to let you know that you didn't make the cut?

thanks

Latest beginning of May if you don't get a call back, that means you didn't make it. He said candidates can call in and ask why they didn't get chosen.

RevRav 04-07-2011 09:29 PM

Still no call :alone:

The guy I talked to said candidates may be called as late as July.

Lolkai 04-10-2011 01:04 PM

Just got email stating that I've passed all the examinations and interviews and now in a pool with other qualified candidates. They will call me anytime from now till July and position start at diff times.

Has anyone got a job offer or are they still only conducting interviews? Anyone still writing the test? I wrote the test 2 months ago and have still not heard back....does this mean it's probably over for me?

jing 04-13-2011 03:41 PM

I just wrote the test (which was a breeze btw) and was told that they'll be calling people up til July

ilvtofu 04-16-2011 09:19 AM

Just got the call, exam is on tuesday, kinda don't want to go and rather study for finals but she said exam is only 20 mins. Calling people up to survey isn't really my thing, should I ask for a supervised position rather than non supervised?

twitchyzero 04-16-2011 09:34 AM

^ if you can work full-time..but i think supervisors were hired already.

I thought supervised position meant that there would be someone supervising you and non supervised meant there isn't. I'm not looking to BE a supervisor lol

You read the titles wrong. It's supervisory and non-supervisory.

supervisory positions need you to be available fulltime 8-5 during the day, I applied for that and passed the test on that but when I was talking to the guy giving the test thats when I found out the availability needed

that's not the way to think, they aren't business competitors or drug dealing competitors. these "competitors" are potentially people you have to fucking work with.

you cant go around trying to hide petty information like this, you have to expect everyone to know this shit like it's free candy, your advantage shouldnt be this info, if it is, lol you don't have much leverage over your "competitors".

bakasam 04-17-2011 02:27 PM

just got a call today.

test on tuesday

SchoolGlue 04-18-2011 05:36 PM

are they still calling for the supervisor position?

i did the test late march, but i still haven't received any kind of response. Would be nice to find out how i did for the test cause it was amazingly easy i would be surprised if i didnt make that bracket =(

saucywoman 04-18-2011 07:26 PM

Just got a call tonight, interview tomorrow. They need to have their candidates by wed so they can start doing reference and criminal checks is what I was told. Work til 4 and game starts at 5 so I'll be cutting in close :s

So you mean that everyone who is chosen for an interview will get one by wednesday? does that mean that no more interviews if we still didn't get one?

BNR32_Coupe 04-20-2011 08:03 AM

friend took the supervisor interview, she said they make you point at a map of the lower mainland and explain about different areas, ethnic areas, safety concerns. also, point out all the construction zones in the area. when you point out a construction zone, state that its important to know because enumerators should take caution around construction zones as it is dangerous, also its handy to consider these zones when planning out routes.

another thing she told me was you'll be a putting a lot of boxes with files in your house. your house will be used as a mini-warehouse for a shit ton of survey forms. but you'll get compensated $2/day for that reason

Skim 04-24-2011 12:15 PM

Anyone else still writing the test or getting an interview?

frozen 04-25-2011 04:01 PM

writing the test on saturday the 30th. You can just wear casual right...? lol

k2_alpha 04-25-2011 04:42 PM

^no
doesnt matter if it is a test or interview.
When you are in a situation for the purpose of getting a job, you MUST dress business like.
NEVER EVER go in casual.
It is always better to be overdress then underessed.

Friendly tip from a person who is part of recruting
