Not sure if we have any Amazon.com shoppers on here but there is an awesome daily deal today!

livingsocial is selling $20 worth of Amazon.com gift card for $10! It looks like it can only be used on the US site tho (.com).

I believe that's cause shipping is only within the US usually but I could be wrong since .COM started shipping to Canada for certain items ... either way good deal ...

Just tried to make purchase from the US Amazon site. You won't be getting their free shipping. So at the end of the day (a book for example) you'll be charged $8.98 USD for shipping to Canada. Not so much of a deal for Canadian Customers...

amazon.COM has everything on it. and a lot of their products ship to canada. And sometimes, it is way cheaper and you get a better selection with amazon.com which is why it is worth it.

also, because point roberts is so close we can just ship stuff there or to blaine so it is worth it imo.
i've bought quite a number of things from amazon.COM and it's definitely been worth while.

to each their own obviously.

I always ship to point roberts anyways when I buy from amazon.com, i hope i get free shipping

Yes...but if you purchase from Amazon.COM, you get free shipping within USA. If you purchase from Amazon.ca, you get free shipping within Canada. So if I were to buy a $100 book from Amazon.COM and end up getting charge $9 bucks in shipping to ship back to Canada...then it's not worth it.

BUT if, for example in your case... they let you use 10 different Gift Card codes... then that's a different story :fullofwin:

Limit 1 per person plus the fact that you need to apply it to your order + trackable by account makes me believe they couldjust show up as being invalid.

for the ones without american credit cards, did you just put your canadian address in the livingsocial payment boxes?

That's what I did... didn't seem to have a problem.
