Probably grab my phone, netbook and wallet. They're all pretty close to each other.

Not all schools are earthquake proof. What would be funny, though, is a school that has had seismic upgrading done, completely falling apart during a mild earthquake. This after millions of dollars being spent. I mean, tragic. Like leaky condos. Someone didn't build it right - pointing of fingers while hundreds of kids are being pulled out from the rubble.

Being downtown when an earthquake hits would also be an intersting experience. Those newer buildings would just sway like they were in an animation movie.

Damn it, took this long to get where I am today and now the big one might hit and I lose everything - that would totally suck balls.

Damn you, mother nature..................

Like most old timers, I'm well prepared. Stocked up on bottled water, canned goods, etc. All I need is a good generator.

Not living on the side of a mountain or on a delta. All good.

I guess if the big one hits, I'll have RS withdrawls............
exactly why LA never has big quakes. just small noticable ones quite a bit. Im not to worried. If it happens it happens, you cant live your life in fear of something like that happening

well, everything i need is right beside my bed. Phone, wallet, keys. Then just grab my jeans and jacket from where i threw them right beside my bed....then i would run down the 3 flights of stairs to the door haha. Oh and i would make sure that my family was getting out of the house too and the dog.

in elementary i got sent out to stand in the halls along with my friend because we were fucking around in class. out of nowhere the door beside me started shaking and we thought it was one of our friends teasing us. i smacked the door to tell him to fuck off only to find that the exit sign on the ceiling was shaking as well. we then realized it was an earthquake and fckin booked it under a table. after the earthquake we were still standing outside the hallway for like 10 minutes and we decided to go back inside the class. when the teacher saw us she had the biggest O SHI- look on her face and started apologizing. thinking back to what happened then i realized i missed out on an opportunity to sue the school for some serious $$$. oh wells

Didn't really notice anything this morning. Mind you, I was still slipping in and out of consciousness around that time.

Ya, I was about to enter a film set when shit starting vibrating around me. Decided it was best not to do so, considering there were probably a hundred mounted lights up in the air at that point. Didn't feel like dying from a falling fill light...

When i used to blaze up at night all by myself, i would get into super paranoid stages about 'the big one' lol. Sometimes id get super freaked out haha.

but even now that i dont smoke no more, i still seem to think about it once a day. Even though we are due for the big one, apparently it can happen anytime soon, but 'soon' in scientific terminology is like over a span of a few hundred years, if im not mistaken.

But yea, +1 for small quakes relieving the tension.

when the big one comes, just hope you arent in a concrete building over 3 stories high, or a condo/apartment.

house, wood buildings, or low rises and youre in the safest type of building possible.

when the big one hits, the majority of deaths will be people in downtown, richmond, and condos. unless the earth rips apart and lava spews out right in the centre of lower mainland, we're all going to be fine
