My tuition got audited, and I was suppose to get a big return this year, so now I have to deal with the audit first before I can even think of getting that post college tax return >:(

dink 04-22-2013 02:49 PM

280 return... better than nothing.

snails 04-22-2013 02:50 PM

i still gotta file! fml

yogenfruz 04-25-2013 09:54 AM

I'm sure it's been asked multiple times, but how do I go about claiming my tuition when I go to get my taxes done. I was planning on just going to an H&R Block to do it. Do I need to get receipts for paying tuition? I payed through my bank online so I don't have a physical statement.

You want the T2202A form from Student Services (or online student services).

radioman 10-10-2013 02:10 PM

my GST credits offset my MSP costs :lawl:

EDIT:
Well 2/3 of the cost.

It's that time of year, just a reminder and I'm still shocked that by now how many people don't know but there are plenty of free tax software out there both web based and desktop based. All CRA approved so don't go spending $30 or whatever it is buying software.

Certified software for the 2017 NETFILE program
