Filed yesterday, I was expecting maybe $200 at most but got over $400 back so I'm happy.

You do know that it is just your own money that originally belonged to you that you are getting back.

If you can navigate Revscene, you can file your taxes electronically.

www.taxfreeway.ca $10 bucks gives you 20 files. site looks ghetto, but it works

I haven't even gotten my 2009 tax return yet lol. I really hate navigating their automated telephone line.

To anyone getting a return due to RRSP contributions: file a T1213 this year! Why wait till 2012 to get your money? If you file the T1213 you can get it back each paycheque.

That said, I made a massive lump sum payment to my RRSP, $6900 return this year :D

LOL, for me it's because the $10,200 I pay to daycare every year that they owe me. Add that into your monthly expenses and tell me kids aren't expensive. :)

Just used Ufile Online for free. FAY1493 is the coupon if you are a student.

What's a good program/ site that will allow me to file my taxes from 2009 and 2010? Lol didn't bother to do it last year.

taxfreeway.ca works, cracked quicktax from the internets, ufile...


10,200 for daycare? is that for 9hourish a day, 5days a week, 52weeks?

$850 a month, 5 days a week from 7-4:30.

You can't file past tax years electronically. Gotta do a paper return.

Question: what do you need to have to claim contract work? This is my first year as a contracted employee so I don't get a t4 from my employer, but I have copies of invoices and check stubs from them.
