Glad to see him go. Started out the season great, and it's been a downward spiral ever since. That brutal penalty and then the turnover afterward a couple games ago sealed the deal I guess!

What's going on with the franchise? For a fringe fan like myself...i see the coach get fired, the hometown guy get traded. It's their first season in MLS, are the expectations too high? So many of their games have ended in a draw.

This move really shocks me. Yes Dunfield hasn't played his best ball lately, but giving up on a proven player halfway through the first season, especially when he's an alternate captain and hometown boy really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
This Jarju kid better be the real deal or I'm going to start to wonder whether the Whitecaps are on the same path as the Grizzlies in terms of management decisions.

You shouldn't, and neither should the Whitecaps. Hometown guy heartwarming story sure, but the guy's been stinking it up lately, and he's not going to get any better. Chumiento's the guy running the show anyway!
