Lol On Rupert turning west on to kingsway is by far the worse than any other way on that section!

Their improvements include speed measures (eg speed bumps) which cut down on the amount of damage in a collision since the speed is lower. Intersection improvements which cut down on accidents etc.
I don't think it has anything to do with jurisdiction. They are a corporation, they don't have jurisdiction in anything. It is within their mandate to reduce try to reduce accidents, hence in theory reduce payouts.. and hopefully reduce fees.
Honestly people who complain about high fees should try moving out of BC and go to any equivalently urbanized area.. eg Sydney, Seattle etc. For the same level of coverage, you will pay significantly more. Quote:
