Maybe cheaper insurance or for really tiny kids?

You're right though that legroom is pretty laughable.

I thought that was the point of a 2+2 though. Also I swear I saw one heading up East on Hastings in North burnaby an hour and a half ago? Looks tiny.

The rear seats are there for insurance purposes. That's the point of 2+2. It's not a people carrier.

Some of us asians are tiny. And not only that, our legs a disproportionately short.

I am 5'6, bit have the same length of torso as some 6' tall friends.
This means my seat is super far forward.

Yes. +2 is used to lower the insurance rate.

Any proof? I think actuaries would rate the vehicle based on other characteristics too. 2+2 won't matter if the reality is a 2.

Actually.. 2+2 should cost more because there could be 4 people getting injuried vs. 2 people getting injuried. Exposure increased.

Hmmm I need a new car and have been shafted by Subaru before (with the massive upgrades on the WRX... I bought two months before the refresh !)

I guess I'll get a beater until the STi model comes out.

You'd think they would have relocated the battery to the rear...like the Cobalts.
