I think Osama deserved to die as much as any man on the planet, but I am appaled by the way western media has portrayed it. The Edmonton paper headline ran "Burn in Hell Osama". To many people Osama was a leader. It would have been more suiting to have had him tried as a war criminal. Celebrating in the streets is only going to enflame his supporters that still remain and instite more terrorist acts.

Watching all the media coverage since word of Bin Laden's death kind of makes me chuckle, they're eating this shit up. SEAL Team Six was disbanded in the late 80's. In reality this raid probably went down nothing like what is being reported, and may not have even been Navy SEALS that performed it.

:lol at the fails. Seriously, do some research and you'll find that Team Six was disbanded and renamed and may or may not even be an operational unit right now. If it is, it's current official name is classified.

As if the US government would release specifics of what teams did the raid on the most wanted terrorist in history. That would compromise the safety and security of the operatives and their families. Besides a SEAL team is 6-8 men and they're claiming anywhere between 24 and 40 took part in the raid so do the math. The SEAL Team Six name is a cover story.

Yes its still now under the name of United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group but it is just sexier to call it seal team 6. Who in the media wants to say DEVGRU all day long when they can say seal team six, its like oceans 11 or fast five ;). But in my mind im pretty sure that the raid was carried out by the DEVGRU and not this super secret government team that requires a cover story in order to hide its operational records.

Plus the there were several seal teams deployed, hence the 24 individuals that took part in the raid. There were also various other military personnel that took part, adding to the number of people that participated in the operation.

Too bad he wasn't captured alive. Forget the trial... hold a lottery for the victim's families. The lucky winner gets to pull the trigger.

Yeah, DEVGRU is way more badass than team6. Less than half of people who make it to the SEAL can get to DEVGRU. And no kid, there's no way you can make it to SEAL.
