I dunno what to believe!!! Osama never publicly claimed the act of 911 was his doing. His death and burial was just too swift and smooth for anyone to believe its actually true.

When is the last time he release any video tape?, maybe he was already dead awhile ago from random bombing.

highly doubt that, as the choppers were flying low, therefore will not show in radar. and even if they do. most prob. jets scambled would be f-16 (based near islamabad), when they lock onto the US chopper. it would show up a friendly not foe.

The US is damned if they do and damned if they don't. Even if they show the body, or even video of the burial the fucking conspiracist nutjobs will still say it's fake and all sorts of forensic "experts" will start doing "investigations" proving why.

I say don't show the pics and give the fucktards any ammo.

If Osama is found to be alive (new video or something else), or has been dead for some time (maybe already buried by his associates), the US will look like the biggest fools in the world. The damage to their reputation would be far worse than anything they gained by announcing his death. There's simply no point in faking his death.

I see only two possibilities: he died like the official statement, or he was captured alive and the world was told he's dead so nobody will find out he's being held (maybe for interrogation via a few added chemical injections). Either way he's as good as dead.

Showing his picture won't do anything to appease who doubt - they will still refuse to believe. Showing his picture could very easily incite violence as it would be seen by the extremists the same as chopping his head off and putting it on a pole.

I think it's smart not to show the gory details.

Anyone reasonable and intelligent understands the reasoning for not releasing pictures of Usama with a large hole in his forehead, the controversy will wash over in a few weeks as people realize if he were still alive a new video would be released mocking america for assasinating the wrong man.

Can you imagine if an image of Hitler lying dead on the floor of his bunker, gun in his hand and hole in his skull had been released. It would still be held up by Nazis today and would change the teaching of history, the image outweighing the event. Props to Obama, Bush would have taken the body to a taxidermist and built a monument.
