am i the only one that doesn't give a fucking shit? this is more for peace of mind for americans, but shit, it is ONE guy.. one guy it took them a decade to get... and one guy who probably has 10000 followers that will step up in his place.

The compound had 12-18ft walls, two security gates and the residents burned their trash rather than allowing it to leave.

In a recent book on Mr. bin Laden, Michael Scheuer, former chief of the Central Intelligence Agency's bin Laden unit, wrote that the al Qaeda leader's goal was to attack the West, and then to move on to Arab states and Israel, but that "he has given no indication that he expects to live long enough to finish the job."

Instead, Mr. Scheuer wrote, Mr. bin Laden "has anticipated a war of attrition, one that might last decades," so he began passing the torch to younger al Qaeda activists.

wow, MSNBC reporters just reported that the US did not tell the Pakistani government about the attack because earlier when they told them about other attacks on other al qaeda targets those targets fled.

So the US thinks there was a leak in the Pakistani government... wow, that's a pretty serious allegation.

So who gets the bounty money for finding Osama? No one mentioned that.

the assumption is that he was dead ages ago but wasn't confirmed/released until today
